Birch Agency is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Winchester, VA area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by helping them improve their communication skills.
As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will have the opportunity to work with students who need speech and language therapy. Your services will include:
- Screening new students for speech/language disorders
- Evaluating students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
- Providing speech therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
- Completing appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
- Attending IEP meetings
- Conferencing with parents and developing home programs when necessary
- Consulting with teachers
- Working as part of a special education team
- Providing thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Speech and Communication and state licensure/certification.
