What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process / Scrum Lead position at BizTek People, Inc. | APA International Placement Consultants?
Responsibilities
- Facilitate standups and ensure blockers are addressed in a timely manner
- Keep Scrum ceremonies focused and on-topic; help team manage parking lot discussion items appropriately
- Support Product Manager during Backlog Refinements and Sprint Reviews to develop Sprint plans
- Hold team members accountable for updates needed to Sprint Plans
- Hold team members accountable for keeping active Sprint Stories updated
- Monitor capacity of team going into Sprint Planning and inform Scrum Lead of changes that happened in Sprint Planning
- Provide status on Active Sprint for weekly team updates (Weather Report)
- Facilitate team conversations for getting Sprint work done as conflicts arise
- Monitor Project Roadmap and escalates risks or concerns of timeline/capacity/priority to Leadership Team
- Act as backup to Project Manager in managing Risks and Defects for Project
- Attend Weekly Huddles for project awareness

- Develop processes in a timely manner based on Leadership Team’s needs/priorities and partner with leadership team and Process Lead/Scrum Lead to implement those improvements and owns progress of change
- Have awareness of team processes and lean in to hold team accountable as needed
- Find opportunities for automation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
- CSM or PSM
- JIRA Wizard. Need to be able to:
- Easily navigate the tool and update Issues
- Keep tabs on Stories in active Sprints
- Help monitor that Stories for future Sprints are refined and have a clear purpose and action plan
