The nature of the work as a Scrum Lead is focused in ensuring the effective application of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products within established timelines. Responsibilities include:
- Scrum Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional teams, promoting communication and transparency; Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success
- Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress; Proactively address challenges to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions
- Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team; Encourage reflection, feedback, and the adoption of best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics; Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog; Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts
- Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching on Agile principles and practices; Mentor team members in the adoption of Agile methodologies and help them grow in their roles
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience
- Experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
- Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 8 yrs; Master's degree 9 years; Associates degree 11 years; High School diploma/GED 12 years
