Focus :
Independently manage a caseload from intake through trial and appeals as needed.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other court documents for state and federal proceedings.
Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting requests, conducting depositions, and preparing expert witnesses.
Maintain proactive and compassionate communication with clients, aligning case goals with client needs.
Confidently represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
Engage in settlement negotiations, advocating for clients’ best interests and achieving favorable outcomes.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies based on a deep understanding of client objectives and employment laws.
Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all legal documentation and case management tasks.
Skill Set :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
1-3 years of litigation experience; experience in employment and civil rights law is preferred.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong oral advocacy skills with confident courtroom presence.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, maintaining a client-focused and empathetic approach.
Ability to work independently with initiative and thrive in a small, dynamic firm setting.
Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with adaptability and resilience in challenging situations.
