Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify qualified mid-sized companies that fit the ideal customer profile (ICP). Use outbound strategies to target decision-makers in departments like IT, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.
  • Use a mix of phone, email, social media (LinkedIn), and personalized video to initiate contact with prospects.
  • Assess prospect needs through discovery conversations. Ensure prospects meet qualification criteria before handing off to Account Executives (AEs).
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts, outreach strategy, and meeting follow-up.
  • Generate a consistent flow of qualified meetings and opportunities.
  • Balance outreach quantity with personalized, value-driven communication.
  • Develop deep knowledge of common challenges faced by mid-sized businesses in target industries.
  • Keep up with product updates, competitive landscape, and market shifts. Use insights to craft compelling and relevant messaging.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Enablement to test messaging and content.
  • Log all outreach, meeting notes, and follow-ups accurately in the CRM. Use data to inform pipeline forecasting and territory planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • In Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is often accepted
  • Prior experience in outbound prospecting or lead generation is preferred. SaaS or tech industry experience is a plus
  • Able to confidently engage mid-level and senior stakeholders via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Familiar with qualification frameworks like BANT, MEDDIC, or SPIN. Comfortable conducting discovery calls and booking meetings for AEs
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs such as meetings booked, emails sent, and opportunities created
  • Capable of managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well with Account Executives, Sales Enablement, and Marketing teams
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and continuously improve
  • Ability to understand customer pain points, business models, and mid-market company needs
