Healthcare Leadership Data & Technology Specialist - TEMPORARY (Part-Time 17.5 hrs/wk)
BYU Marriott Healthcare Leadership is seeking a talented Data & Technology Specialist to support our expanding programs and alumni engagement initiatives. This hybrid, remote position offers the flexibility to work independently while making a significant impact on how we connect with over 25,000 contacts across our healthcare leadership community. You'll serve as the technical backbone of our data operations, customizing and managing our CRM platform, developing automation solutions, and ensuring seamless technology experiences for events and communications. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented problem-solver who thrives on creating efficient systems and enjoys working at the intersection of data, technology, and meaningful engagement.

- This is a part-time position (17.5 hours/week) with a flexible schedule and one-year contract**
- Customize and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, organizing and segmenting 25,000 contacts into strategic, accessible groups
- Export and prepare targeted contact lists for leadership use in outreach, events, and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with IT, Data Security, and Student Organizations to develop automations that streamline contact imports and reduce manual data entry
- Use Excel, Power Query, and other analytical tools to clean, organize, and analyze complex datasets
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable technical solutions
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites showcasing Healthcare Leadership programs
- Manage event technology logistics including Zoom calls, virtual events, and campus meeting technology
- Provide responsive troubleshooting and proactive technical support to staff and stakeholders
What qualifies you for this role:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- One year of experience in database design and management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Two years of experience in data management
- Experience with data automation and integration projects
- Track record of identifying process improvements and implementing scalable solutions
