Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will manage maintenance activities for existing applications and oversee various larger projects, ensuring effective communication between technical teams and business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate meetings between technical teams and business clients to gather insights and requirements.
2. Lead requirement gathering sessions independently to define project specifications.
3. Maintain a backlog of work items in Azure DevOps and manage project tasks, timelines, and communications throughout the Change Management lifecycle.
4. Track sprints and ticket progress using Azure DevOps, ensuring adherence to departmental change management policies.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation on the project SharePoint site.
6. Provide detailed project status reports and resource demand projections to management.
7. Support team dynamics by delegating tasks effectively and ensuring clarity in communication.
8. Serve as a critical thinker, bringing attention to detail in all aspects of project work.

Required Skills:

• Complex IT Web Applications: Experience with complex web applications within the past 5 years.
• Professional Environment: Minimum of 5 years in a professional office setting.
• Business Analysis: At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst role supporting software development projects.
• Meeting Leadership: Proven ability to lead meetings, conduct training sessions, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences for a minimum of 3 years.
• MS Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Liaison Experience: Minimum of 2 years acting as a liaison between development teams and business clients or project managers in software development projects.
• Azure DevOps: At least 6 months of experience using Azure DevOps.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Software Development Lifecycle: Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (2 years preferred).
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies (6 months preferred).
• Microsoft SharePoint: Experience using Microsoft SharePoint (6 months preferred).
• Salesforce Platform: Experience with Salesforce (6 months preferred).
• MS Dynamics 365: Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 (6 months preferred).
