Data Center Project Manager / Site Supervisor
Location: Fayetteville, GA (1435 SR-54 W Fayetteville, GA)
Required onsite as needed
Duration: 8 Week Contract
Client: Fortune 50 Technology Company
Pay: $50-60/hr depending on experience
Brooksource is seeking a Data Center Project Manager / Site Supervisor to support a major data center deployment in Fayetteville, GA. This hybrid role blends high-level project management with on-the-ground site supervision, offering a unique opportunity to lead both the strategic and operational execution of a time-critical initiative.
This is an 8 week engagement with strong potential for future deployments upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead deployment efforts end-to-end: including project planning, scheduling, resource management, rack & stack, and cabling implementation in alignment with our client's standards.
- Supervise and support onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Drive communication and stakeholder updates on project status, risks, and milestones while maintaining detailed documentation and progress reporting.
- Enforce site-level accountability and compliance through regular inspections, audits, and on-site leadership.
- Identify and mitigate delays or obstacles, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with project SLAs and KPIs.
- Assist with hands-on implementation tasks as needed, demonstrating working knowledge of tools, processes, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional experience, including data center project management, ideally with greenfield and brownfield deployments and supervisory or field experience in construction, logistics, military operations, or data center infrastructure
- Proven leadership in coordinating technical teams and driving project success on fast-paced sites
- Familiarity with data center operations, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems (strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, especially under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior hands-on experience in data center engineering or operations, with a transition into project management
