Junior Project Manager

Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and organized entry-level IT Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field who have demonstrated leadership through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular involvement. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to real-world technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of small to mid-size IT projects under the guidance of senior team members
- Support project planning efforts including timelines, scope, milestones, and resource allocation
- Track progress, manage schedules, and update project documentation such as status reports, risk logs, and meeting notes
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams including developers, QA, stakeholders, and infrastructure
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) or traditional project meetings
- Help identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support the implementation of software solutions, system upgrades, or internal IT initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or campus leadership roles count)
- Demonstrated experience working on technical or cross-functional projects during school or internships
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project, or Google Workspace
- Interest in pursuing a career in IT program or project management
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Understanding of SDLC or IT systems architecture
- Certification or coursework in project management (CAPM, Scrum Fundamentals, etc.)
