The Senior Business Analyst works within a delivery team interfacing with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and prioritize requirements for large, cross-functional initiatives leveraging custom applications. Must understand business problems, processes and opportunities and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery.
Essential Functions
- Seek opportunities continuously to increase customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships and provide a better, more efficient user experience.
- Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements from clients and business users.
- Analyze, document, and improve workflows, processes, and standards.
- Understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to deliver functional requirements including screen and interface designs where necessary.
- Act as an interface between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience as a Business Analyst
- 5 years working with internal clients and/or external agencies/partners.
- Experience with Agile project methodology, preferred.
- SQL experience is a huge plus.
- Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization.
- Strong technical knowledge coupled with business intelligence and ability to understand customer's needs.
