Cadence Care Network has an immediate opening for an experienced Insurance Billing Specialist. The principal duties and responsibilities include:
- Pre-auditing and submitting claims daily.
- Maintaining accounts receivable including resolving denials, delayed payments or other irregularities all staying within the established timely filing limits.
- Posting all commercial, Medicaid and patient payments.
- Insurance Verification and reporting coverage restrictions.
- Obtaining prior authorization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in behavioral health insurance billing and accounts receivables.
- Experience in using Electronic Health Records systems.
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Word.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
- Good problem-solving skills and decision making.
- Good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
