Travel Maintenance Technician

CES/AWS IS LOOKING FOR A FIELD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Victor, NY

Pay: $65k-$80k/y commission (Depending on Experience)

Direct Hire position

Water treatment or water waste experience is a plus

Must have a valid passport as this is a travel position, traveling weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Client Communication: Develop project schedules, answer technical questions, and support clients during equipment installation.
• Equipment Installation: Conduct field inspections and tests to ensure installations meet P&ID, electrical, and mechanical specifications.
• Product Commissioning: Commission and service air pollution control products, providing hands-on operator training.
• Site Management: Supervise subcontractors as needed and troubleshoot critical equipment to improve performance.
• Technical Support: Offer expert assistance via onsite service calls or phone support.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: A 2-year degree (4 years preferred) in a related field and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Skills: Strong communication, time management, and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to work independently.
• Travel Ready: Willingness to travel extensively across North America and worldwide as needed.
• Problem-Solving: Independent thinker who can analyze, prioritize, and adapt to diverse situations with forward-thinking solutions.

Requirements

• Certificates: Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Work Environment: Ability to work safely on construction and industrial sites, with familiarity with OSHA protocols.
