What You-ll Do
As a Test Engineer at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:
- Create and maintain test plans
- Analyze and interpret design specifications, business requirements and apply information to the testing process
- Create and document test cases/test scripts
- Participate in daily scrum meetings
Minimum education qualification
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation
- Experience gathering requirements
- Experience writing test scripts and test planning
- Experience using testing tools ( HP Quality Center, Rational, MS, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience in Java/C# development experience is preferred
- Automation or Performance Test a plus
- Test Lead experience a plus
