General Description:
Under general supervision provides preventative and health care to an assigned group of patients or clients in an *** facility.

-Administers medications safely under direction of physician or other medical personnel.
-Observes, records, and reports patient s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
-Provide care according to an established nursing plan.
-Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
-Ensures patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate.
-Communicates systematic report to other care providers.
-Assisting in the coordination of care delivery; utilizes resources to promote the continuum of care.
-Employs strategies to promote health in a safe environment.
-Documents progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
-Uses quality and evidence based practice to deliver and improve care.
-Works closely with more experienced clinicians for guidance and supervision.
-Triage telephone calls for referral to other clinical team members.

Required Skills & Experience:
-One year of experience.
-Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures.
-Ability to organize, coordinate, plan and evaluate nursing needs of assigned patients.
-Must be knowledgeable about operating room techniques if applying for a surgery position.
-Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Two or more years of experience.
