Packaging Technician

Job Summary:

• The Repack-Label Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing various tasks related to the repackaging and labeling of products.
• This role involves working collaboratively with the production team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
• The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repackage products according to specified guidelines and customer requirements.
• Accurately label products, ensuring all information is correct and legible.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Complete required documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move around for long periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.

Work Environment:

• The work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures and smells.
