What You’ll Do
As Agency Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of local operations—from care coordination to financial performance—while building a strong, client-centered culture. You'll lead with empathy and excellence, ensuring the agency meets both regulatory requirements and the high standards of Caring Senior Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Operations & Leadership
- Drive operational excellence through planning, audits, system oversight, and process improvements
- Inspire and lead a team of office staff and caregivers, promoting accountability and growth
- Start-Up Mindset
- Identify and act on opportunities to scale the business, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency
- Build systems and team culture from the ground up, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
- Client & Caregiver Relations
- Conduct in-home consultations and safety assessments with compassion and precision
- Ensure caregivers are trained, motivated, and delivering exceptional service
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations
- Maintain all required licenses, accreditations, and documentation
- Financial & Business Oversight
- Manage billing, payroll, and collections
- Monitor budgets and margins to ensure sustainable growth and profitability
- Marketing & Community Engagement
- Act as the local face of the agency—developing referral relationships, representing the brand, and driving local outreach
- Leadership Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership/management, in healthcare, senior care, or service operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Experience building or managing a business or start-up is highly preferred
- Hands-On Senior Care Background:
- Direct experience providing care to seniors is required (you know what quality care looks like firsthand)
- Skills & Attributes:
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Organized, adaptable, and results-oriented
- A leader who leads by example—with empathy, integrity, and a drive for excellence
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/sit for extended periods, and drive as needed
- On-call duties required, including occasional nights and weekends
