General Summary of Job Duties
As a Baker you will be supporting the Casino Fandango culinary team, to ensure that all bakery items have a beautiful presentation.
Job Function and Duties
- Be knowledgeable in all aspects of doughs, biscuits, Danish dough, baguettes, and muffins.
- Be knowledgeable in production of doughs and form, baking and traying of early morning Danishes, sign work, mixing, baking, and proper storage of items baked.
- Ensure that the quality and presentation of food products meet company standards.
- Work at least one station, maintaining the highest quality in finished product.
- Practice proper food handling.
- Use and apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
- Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are always maintained.
- Ensure that no baked goods leave the kitchen without a ticket.
- Properly wrap, label, date and store all food items in their proper areas.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have 1-year Bakery experience.
- Ability to maintain clean personal hygiene.
- Must have job related tools.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
