We are seeking a reliable, experienced Youth Respite Provider spend time with an active boy with special needs. Family is wanting a motivated worker that is energetic, patient, and positive while engaging the child in meaningful and enjoyable activities. Respite will start out in the boy’s home, in the community, and eventually in the provider’s home.
This boy enjoys animals, being outdoors, board games (especially Monopoly), Legos, science, Anamae, video games, and swimming.

Wage: Hourly rate: $14.13 per hour
Daily rate: $207.45 (daily rate for shifts over 8 hours)
Schedule: 2 weekends per month: start small - (hourly rate) to build a relationship with the child
Responsibilities:
- Provider direct supervision and ensure safety and wellbeing of the child
- Engage child in age-appropriate and ability-appropriate activities
- Communicate professionally with family and agency staff as needed
- Redirect behaviors with consistency
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with children with special needs; developmental disabilities, Autism
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Willing to undergo background check
