We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for an adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment during the primary caregiver's absence.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for an adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment during the primary caregiver's absence.
Pay:
- $17.66/hourly (shifts under 8 hours)
- $256.00/day (shifts over 8 hours)
Schedule:
Every Other Weekend:
- Saturday: at least an 8-hour shift (based on your availability)
- Sunday: at least an 8-hour shift (based on your availability)
Tasks:
- Respite care would be conducted in the client’s home.
- Ensure safety of client while under your supervision.
- Assist with basic money management tasks (e.g., supporting budget management/planning)
- Support the client in preparing simple meals and snacks.
- Provide timely medication reminders (no administration required).
- Offer transportation to/from community locations, as needed (e.g., errands, appointments, outings).
- Provide verbal reminders to clean up.
- Engage with the client in respectful and meaningful ways to encourage social connection.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must have auto insurance.
- Must pass background check.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
