Cedarbrook Country Club, a family-oriented facility striving to provide a total recreational and social experience with an emphasis on golf. Our championship golf course situated on over 225 acres of rolling terrain and woodlands measures over 7000 yards and features nine possible tee combinations including two "PGA Family Courses". The Wissahickon Creek meanders throughout the course and combines with lakes, ponds, abundant wildlife, expansive greens, and bunkers, and two large practice areas to offer a golf setting appreciated and loved by our dynamic and diverse membership.

Job Description

Greenkeeper/Grounds Maintenance/ Landscaping
Cedarbrook Country Club is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. This position is for someone looking for part time work, 25-30 hrs./week. It is crucial that this individual has an attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited instruction.

Job duties include:

· Daily clubhouse checks for cleanliness.

· Mowing and detailing of clubhouse, pool, and tennis grounds.

· Mowing maintenance of practice facilities which would include greens, practice fairway, range target greens and range tees.

· Daily upkeep of practice facilities which would include clearing debris, raking bunkers, and filling divots.

· Performing landscaping duties alone or with club’s horticulturist which would including mulching, planting, fertilizing, pruning both shrubbery and ornamental trees, spraying and pulling weeds, and grooming bocce courts 3 days a week during in season play.

· Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.

· Incorporates safe work practices in job performance

· Performs other duties as required

· Watering if capable, heavy machine operation if capable and partake in projects.

· Flexible Schedule with target of 30-40 hours per week

Job Requirements:

· Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

· Walk long distances.

· Work in different weather environments (heat, cold, rain)

· Operate golf course machinery, walk behind mowers, backpack blowers, and weed whackers.

· Ability to work under limited supervision.

· The proper candidate will work closely with club horticulturist to carry out all tasks in maintaining landscaping for the clubhouse.

Experience Requirements:

· Must possess a passion for the job

· Landscape or Golf course maintenance a plus but will train right candidate.

· Must have great communication skills

· Highly motivated and dependable individual

· Must be a good team member while also being able to work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE
