Key Responsibilities:
- Assembles components to complete total assembly of machine.
- Prepares and installs electrical components and hydraulic tubing and systems for machine operation.
- Checks and resolves minor operational problems and works with engineering to solve fit or mechanical problems.
- Powers up newly assembled machines.
- Uses forklift and other material moving machinery.
- Adheres to all safety rules outlined in the safety manual and employee handbook.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with coworkers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic circuit prints.
- Ability to use various measuring instruments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation.
- Ability to work on or beneath machines and in close quarters when performing the testing process.
- Ability to recognize applicable hazardous energy sources.
High School Diploma or GED
