At On-Target Machine®, we design, machine, and assemble the highest quality automated product handling and packaging systems.
Summary
The Cable Assembly position is responsible for assembling a variety of assemblies, varying from subassemblies for fountain/lighting orders or inventory to complete final assemblies based on production demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cut cable to lengths
- Reload the racks with spools
- Strip ends of cable for assembly
- Wire ALC, assorted plug ends, and disconnects together
- Potting (epoxy)
- Place assemblies on carts for staging for Final Assembly or into storage location (stocked items)
- Process jobs in ERP system for Inventory management
- Verify BOM accuracy and communicating discrepancies in order to have the MRP system run efficiently and accurately

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands
- Bending, reaching, squatting
- Climbing on and off forklift if necessary
- Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Small hand tool use
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour
