Center Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Client Care Representative to join our team! Center Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA Accredited General Practice and Urgent Care clinic located in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego, CA. Position Overview: As a Client Care Representative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations with Center Veterinary Clinic. By adding value to an efficient organization dedicated to quality care and extraordinary service, you will perform a variety of clerical and customer service tasks in providing support to the hospital. The CCR is the first and last contact with the hospital and is key to creating positive impressions. We are looking for a friendly, team-oriented person, with excellent customer service skills!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly
- Maximize clinic productivity through proper scheduling and confirmation of appointments
- Prepare, record, and maintain any required documents or medical records
- Keep hospital facility disinfected, organized and neat
- Obtain deposits and payments from clients
- Utilize computer systems like email applications, chat support, and veterinary programs
- Educate clients on veterinary services and care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Veterinary Receptionist experience preferred but not required, willing to train the right candidate
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of veterinary procedures, terminology, medications, vaccinations, and other products is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software's
- Able to perform moderately physically demanding work that requires lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, zoonotic diseases, and unpleasant odors
Available Schedule: Full-time position, must be open to working weekends
- We are open: Mondays-Thursdays 7:30am - 9pm
- Fridays and Saturdays 7:30am - 7pm
- Sundays 8:15am - 5pm
