Trident Veterinary Hospital, a new, state-of-the-art facility, is seeking a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and Reception to join our team. As a family-owned and operated hospital, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and exceptional service to our patients and clients.
Technician
Performance Responsibilities:
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and patient recovery
- Physical examinations and patient assessments
- Dentistry, laboratory work, and pharmacy duties
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients
- Administer oral and injectable medications
Requirements:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of California a plus
- Proficiency in medical math and record-keeping
- Lift and carry animals (assisted for animals over 40 lbs)
- Work in a team environment and teach others
- Willing to take on leadership roles
- Punctual and self-motivated
Veterinary Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Restrain sick and sometimes frightened animals
- Assist in imaging and diagnostics
- Assist in daily kennel and facility operations
- Feed, water, and provide husbandry for hospitalized patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Experience in animal care is a plus but not required
Client Service Representative
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, both in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations
- Handle client inquiries and ensure a positive client experience
- Utilize Navetor software for client records and appointment scheduling
- Assist in the growth of the hospital by promoting services and generating client leads
- Collaborate with other departments and provide support as needed
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to de-escalate potential conflicts and handle difficult situations with grace
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn Navetor software
- Punctuality and reliability in work attendance
- Works well with others
- Familiarity with merchant services preferred but not required
- Understanding of basic medical terminology preferred, but not required
