Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position will rotate between the Sartell and Southway labs as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Collect blood samples from the patient
- Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
- Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up
Schedule:
- 48 hours every 2 weeks
- Monday-Friday
- Rotating shifts between 7am-4pm & 8am-5pm
Pay and Benefits:
- $17.83 or more per hour, pay determined by experience.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
