Job Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (NeoEd) to ensure efficient recruitment processes. Create, post, and manage job postings for part-time positions across various platforms. Coordinate new employee setup and data entry in the HRIS System (Banner). Process employment verification requests in a timely and accurate manner. Handle Unemployment Insurance claims, including documentation and communication with relevant agencies. Conduct SC Hire processing to ensure compliance with state hiring requirements. Coordinate and manage background check processes for adjunct faculty and temporary staff. Scan and index employee files in the HRIS system for accurate record-keeping and compliance. Maintain and organize documentation for temporary employees. Support new hire benefits enrollment and orientation processes. Contribute to performance management initiatives and related documentation. Manage calendar coordination for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and HR Department. Prepare departmental meeting agendas and supporting materials. Coordinate room reservations and meeting logistics. Secure catering services for departmental meetings and events. Develop and distribute monthly HR department newsletter.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and clerical or administrative experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2 years of experience in HR generalist functions and experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
