Sterile Processing Tech (Permanent Role)

Location: Round Rock, TX, 78665
Shift: 12 HR Days | 7:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience

• Prepare and arrange rooms, instruments, equipment, trays, and supplies.
• Clean and disinfect instruments using approved solutions.
• Operate sterilization equipment following regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory: order, restock, and distribute sterile items.
• Adhere to strict safety, infection control, and environmental protocols.
• Support and train staff; mentor entry-level team members.
• Conduct in-service sessions and assist with onboarding.

• Knowledge of sterilization equipment/procedures.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and infection control best practices.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Certification (must have one):
  • CBSPD (Certified Board Sterile Processing & Distribution)
  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
  • CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician)
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
