Med Admin LPN

• Perform duties normally associated with LPN license in Outpatient facilities operated by a community behavioral health center
• Obtain and implement physician/ARNP orders per nursing interventions/protocols
• Ensure therapeutic milieu is clean, safe, attractive and comfortable for individuals served
• Provide medication related information and education to patients, as appropriate
• Ensures that medication records are complete and accurate
• Actively identify and provide intervention for abnormal laboratory results
• Accurately monitor and assess vital signs
• Participate in treatment plan development
• Demonstrate working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, symptoms and treatments
• Demonstrate therapeutic interventions and communication skills
• Demonstrate working knowledge of internal and external resources and treatment interventions for adults
• Provide services to adults and children
• Maintain strict consumer confidentiality

• Currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Three to six months nursing experience and/or training

OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements.
• Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
• Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
• CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.
• Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document into an electronic medical record

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
