What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Admin LPN position at Charlotte Behavioral Health Care Inc?
- Perform duties normally associated with LPN license in Outpatient facilities operated by a community behavioral health center
- Obtain and implement physician/ARNP orders per nursing interventions/protocols
- Ensure therapeutic milieu is clean, safe, attractive and comfortable for individuals served
- Provide medication related information and education to patients, as appropriate
- Ensures that medication records are complete and accurate
- Actively identify and provide intervention for abnormal laboratory results
- Accurately monitor and assess vital signs
- Participate in treatment plan development
- Demonstrate working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, symptoms and treatments
- Demonstrate therapeutic interventions and communication skills
- Demonstrate working knowledge of internal and external resources and treatment interventions for adults
- Provide services to adults and children
- Maintain strict consumer confidentiality
- Currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Three to six months nursing experience and/or training
OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements.
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
- CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to use a computer.
