Operations Director

The Operations Director is responsible for cultivating other leaders and creating a customer-centric, operationally-lean culture that is focused on continuous improvement within the restaurant. This position will be require a highly personal and professional individual who embodies and displays hospitality towards guests and team members. This position can lead to growth opportunities within the restaurant or with the Chick-fil-A Brand.

Operations Director Responsibilities:

• They will lead an energetic, well-trained, and empowered customer service team that consistently turns customers into loyal, raving fans
• Cast vision for hospitality in the restaurant (culture building)
• Clearly communicate performance and behavior expectations
• Equip team with necessary skills to perform job at a high level
• Provide any necessary resources to team in order to enhance performance
• Appropriately handles consequences relating to performance whether positive or negative by delivering constructive feedback
• Shift management- Director will be expected to lead operations of the business while simultaneously coaching and directing team
• Managing cost controls and handling of daily finances
• Sales growth- grows the business through operational excellence and suggestive selling
• Active member of our high performance leadership team meetings (weekly)
• Brings relevant data that show performance improvement
• Collaborates with other leaders to determine appropriate action items that move us toward our overall goals

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Candidate must display our core characteristics (Happiness, Humility, Hunger, Heart for others, and Hustle)
• Candidate must be love the opportunity to work with and develop young workers
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation
• Must have a drive for excellence (Diligent and Detail-Oriented)
• Passion for leadership
• Lead from the front: Leaders must be hands-on in leading operations
• Must be willing to work mid-shifts or evening shifts
• Must be willing to work 3 to 4 Saturdays per month
• Pattern of pursuing personal and professional growth
• Love for the Chick-fil-A Brand
• Calm and consistent in a fast paced environment
