Job Description
Team Leaders are friendly, energetic people responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Team Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a Director; following established opening and closing procedures. A person in this position can work Front of the House or Back of the House and must:
• Ensure Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders
• Ensure Team Members are accurate with weights/measurements for all recipe items
• Ensure Team Members work at a pace to maintain established speed of service guidelines
• Ensure the work stations are clean at all times
• Execute proper security, cash handling, and control procedures
• Ensure cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times
• Ensure Team Members are following all food safety requirements
• Monitor overall facility cleanliness
• Address guest issues that may arise; consulting with management for complex issues
• Maintain a positive work environment and positive work relationships
• Treat Team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
• Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling
• Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures and hold Team Members accountable for following all policies and procedures
