Job Summary
This role provides support to the Global Executive Intelligence division. The investigator uses databases and online information to conduct due diligence research. The investigator is responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence research and public record reviews related to individuals and entities for various clients. Research must be thorough, and reports written clearly and without errors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research includes identity verification and a review of federal and state litigation, bankruptcies, liens, judgments, UCC filings, media searches, social media, national, federal/state regulatory databases, verification of professional licensing, corporate information, and limited partnership filings.
- Online due diligence research to include social media, adverse media, websites, and other areas of investigative research.
- Report Writing - Producing high quality written reports. Composition of individual and corporate research reports into a clear and concise written report without errors, according to client specifications.
- Strong Attention to detail, conduct research and write reports without errors.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 2 years of relevant work experience required.
- Corporate due diligence, compliance, legal and/or regulatory background, preferred.
- High degree of analytical skill and proficiency in preparing actionable intelligence reports.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Accurint, TLO, Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.
- Ability to utilize intelligent technology and to adapt to and adopt new and emerging research techniques.
- Ability to work independently and develop resolutions to challenges encountered during research investigations.
- Ability to discuss research requirements and subsequent results with department leaders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to summarize legal court records for clients clear understanding.
- Willingness to get involved in a wide range of administrative, research and report writing tasks as required.
