Custodian I
DEPARTMENT: Buildings and Grounds
HOURS WORKED: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5:00pm to 1:00am)
AFFILIATION: UAW Clerical & Technical
SALARY & GRADE: Grade 4, wage dependent upon experience
PRIMARY DUTIES
Position is responsible for all general building custodial duties and painting. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning, polishing, and dusting interior of City Hall. Position also performs building and safety checks, grounds maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of six months relevant work experience in general cleaning and maintenance and possess a High School diploma or certified equivalent.
