Job Description
The City of Pueblo wants to hire you as a Tax Auditor I! A full-time position that offers you competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and great benefits! As a Tax Auditor I, you will perform professional inspections of business and governmental records to assure compliance with the City’s Sales/Use tax and license ordinances and document your audit results in detail. This position requires tact while assisting the public, interpreting Municipal Code, State statute and regulations, and court cases related to the administration and enforcement of tax or license provisions. You will also respond to questions and concerns from the public and other City Departments via email, phone, and in-person. You will have the support and direction of the Tax Audit Manager to complete your duties and succeed in your career with the City of Pueblo!
