Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional- CDS Getz
Location: Palatine, IL
Hours: Full time, 40 hours, Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: $47,530/year
Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency specializing in providing innovative opportunities, tools, and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
The QIDP is a member of the interdisciplinary team providing holistic programming for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing programming for an assigned caseload.
Responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in program management and general staff meetings
- Conduct team meetings on a regular basis
- Ensure that safety standards and when applicable, safety devices are appropriately utilized in the program areas at all time.
- Maintain confidentiality with all clients and their families
- Maintain a professional image/role as a representative of the agency
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in developing an individual program plan for each assigned client
- Develop appropriate curriculum for implementation of client programming objectives and ensure the curriculum is being followed
- Act as QIDP for community clients, coordinating/attendance IDTs, and intake/discharge staffing
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in human services, social services, or health related field
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- At least 1 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Valid IL driver's license
- Case management experience is preferred
- Must be QIDP qualified
