The Department of Engineering Technology at Cleveland State University invites applications for an Assistant College Lecturer beginning August 18, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach undergraduate courses in the core Electronics Engineering Technology discipline with particular focus on power supply design and robotics, as well as combined electro-mechanical technical electives. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing online courses, service to the department, assisting with program accreditation, and developing new laboratory instructional materials. The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach undergraduate courses in the core electronics engineering technology discipline with particular focus on power supply design and robotics, as well as combined electro-mechanical technical electives.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor and Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, or closely related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial experience;
  • The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the excellence of the academic community.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching engineering or engineering technology courses at college level beyond graduate assistant assignment;
  • Excellent communication skills.
