Department Opening: The Quality Pharmacy Technician will rotate through the following departments for daily production purposes: Quality Assurance (Q/A), Bulk, Prepack, and Control Cage.

Position: Quality Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Shift Schedule A: Monday - Friday 9:30am to 6pm.

Shift Schedule B: Sunday 8am to 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday 9am to 5:30pm.

Competitive Pay: The starting hourly rate is $19. If you have previous Pharmacy Technician CPhT experience, your experience is taken into consideration and your hourly rate would be greater than $19.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PTCB National Certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 1 years' Pharmacy Technician experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
• Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.

Duties Include:

Bulk QA

• Fill and perform quality check on medication orders to ensure drug name, strength, and quantity match the prescription label.
• Review product for damage and ensure expiration date is appropriate for dispense.
• Identify products that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.
• Reconcile bulk queues at the end of the day.

Prepack QA

• Perform quality check on medication orders to ensure drug name, strength, quantity, and expiration date match the prescription label.
• Review cards closely to identify double drops, broken tablets, and contamination.
• Identify cards that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.

Control Cage

• Receive, restock, and replenish controlled substances, and high-risk drug inventory.
• Audit for expired meds monthly and oversee maintenance of fridge, equipment, and supplies used in the control cage.
• Complete monthly CII count and quarterly CIII-CV count.
• Accurately repackage, label, and document control substance orders as outlined by Clinical Solutions Pharmacy Control Cage policies and procedures.
• Perform all tasks in a timely and economical manner.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Clinical Solutions Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, and Fulfillment Procedures.
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
