What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Ambassador position at Coconino Community College?
This role is designed to engage current students who are passionate about their college experience and eager to share it with prospective students, parents, and the community. As a Student Ambassador, you will represent Coconino Community College at various events, provide campus tours, and assist with campus engagement.
This is a part-time, 10-15 hours/week.

- Student Life Events: Represent Student Life at on-campus events through the planning, preparation, set-up, execution, and clean-up of our Student Life signature events.
- Student Services Supports: Collaborate with Student Services departments to help execute their programs and events. Be present as additional support as needed.
- Event Participation: Represent the college at recruitment events, open houses, college fairs, community events, and other CCC events.
- Campus Tours: Conduct campus tours for prospective students, families, and other visitors, showcasing the facilities, programs, and student life at CCC.
- Outreach: Assist with outreach activities by providing information about the college's programs, admissions process, and student services.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to social media campaigns, student testimonials, and other marketing materials to promote the college.
- Student Life Area Oversight: Assist with the organization, management, and cleaning of on-campus areas overseen by Student Life.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks related to recruitment and admissions, such as data entry, preparing information packets, and responding to inquiries.
- Peer Mentoring: Offer guidance and support to prospective and new students, sharing personal experiences and helping them navigate the transition to college life.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effectively conveying information during campus events and tours.
- Insight into student organizations, clubs, extracurricular activities, and campus events.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and events.
- Good written communication skills for responding to inquiries and contributing to marketing materials.

- Must be a currently enrolled student at Coconino Community College.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

- Prior work experience and / or transferable skills related to the position.
