Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality Team! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop plans, procedures, and methods to assure quality requirements are met.
- Provide technical assistance, training, and problem-solving support.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide methods for improving same.
- Investigate technological enhancements to promote improvements.
- Streamline and improve quality systems and procedures and focus on developing a “One Quality System”.
- Determining quality improvement factors.
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.
- Making sure processes adhere to quality standards.
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four years of college (technical preferred). Bachelor of Science, with some related work experience.
- Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor Preferred (ASQC).
- Related work experience considered in lieu of education.
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version-control procedures, and defect management processes.
- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE (certified quality engineer), or CQA (certified quality auditor) is a plus.
- Excellent computer proficiency.
