General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is seeking Seasonal Guest Relations Associate. Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics, the Seasonal Guest Relations Associate assists with the daily activities of the admissions at Paradice Island. The Seasonal Guest Relations Associate must work successfully in a team-oriented atmosphere that provides citizens and other employees with accurate information, excellent customer service and human relations skills. Must be accountable, flexible and adept at conflict resolution. Must accurately operate Windows PC and computerized cash register.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for Seasonal Guest Relations is $16.48 - $18.78 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling preferred.
- Customer service preferred.
- PC computer knowledge and skills in Windows and MS Office.
- MS Word and ACTIVE experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be highly motivated and take direction well.
- Must be willing to work mornings, midday, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must have no physical limitations regarding the lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to utilize mathematical formulas; to add and subtract totals; to multiply and divide.
- Ability to read and write, operate personal computer and keyboard, calculator, digital camera, telephone and some knowledge of proper office procedures.
- Ability to handle required calculations of staff hours, timesheets, and carious records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond calmly and professionally to stressful or emergency situations.
- Ability to learn current policies and procedures.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct several tasks at once with frequent interruptions and can result in moderate level of stress due to the volume of public contact and diversity of work.
- Ability to use independent judgment while applying general organizational policies and values.
- Excellent customer service skills are imperative at all times.
- Ability to substitute for other team members when necessary and work special events.
- Detail oriented, flexible and well organized.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
- Minimal error tolerance when handling cash transactions.
- Ability to prepare various reports, records, and letters with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
