As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day supervision for the housekeeping department, providing support and assistance to the team to ensure all accommodations and common areas are cleaned and sanitized to exceed our guest expectations. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day supervision for the housekeeping department, providing support and assistance to the team to ensure all accommodations and common areas are cleaned and sanitized to exceed our guest expectations. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assigning work duties and inspecting guest accommodations and common areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing alongside your team
- Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished in work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored properly
- Assists visitors as needed
- Assists in laundry and manages work flow
- Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and Laundry
- Updates and manages room statuses and work orders
- Complete required paperwork
- Assist with hiring
- Manages training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: NONE
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of housekeeping or laundry duties in a commercial or institutional operation.

Working Conditions
May risk exposure to chemicals associated with cleaning supplies or burns in operation of laundry machinery.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
