In this position, you will provide a range of professional social work services and interventions for residents of the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home. This work involves interacting with residents, family members, and fellow staff to provide and coordinate needed social services. As a member of the interdisciplinary care plan team, you will complete psychosocial assessments and implement interventions to support residents' individual needs and preferences. Additionally, you will counsel residents and their family members using various treatment modalities, including supportive counseling, problem solving, education techniques, and social skills training.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 75 hours biweekly
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in social work or social welfare.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
