Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is seeking a RN or LPN to serve as the full-time Health Services Coordinator! The Health Services Coordinator oversees the agencies’ Health Services related programs and services throughout the agency’s service area.
Position: Health Services Coordinator
Program and Location: Health Programs (Immunizations, Community Health Workers, etc.) – Administrative Office in Kearney
Position Summary: The Health Services Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Health Services Programs and supervision of Health Services staff. This position is responsible for assisting administrative staff in the completion of grant applications, collecting and compiling data for grants and funders, ensuring program operations follow approved program budgets, and review and evaluate ongoing Health Services programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Management responsibilities for Health Services Programs: including Immunizations and any other health projects the agency receives funding for.
- Coordinating Immunization clinics, including scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, providing and coordinating services for clients, administering immunizations, and maintaining clinic records and totals.
- Completion of grants to secure program funding.
- Ensure program operations follow approved program budgets.
- Collection and compilation of data to meet grant requirements and submitting reports to funders on time.
- Awareness and execution of all agency procedures and requirements.
- Maintain records, inventory, and complete data entry into databases including NESIIS.
- Ensure supplies are properly stored at the correct temperature and recording storage temperatures.
- Maintain partnerships with local agencies and organizations and provide referrals and information to program participants.
Qualification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program and Currently licensed in the State of Nebraska as a practical nurse or authority based on the Nurse Licensure compact to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and Currently licensed in the state of Nebraska as a registered nurse or authority based on the Nurse Licensure compact to practice as a licensed registered nurse in Nebraska.
Required Skills:
- Bilingual: fluency in English and Spanish highly desired, but not required. Additional compensation available for bilingual skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Model appropriate/professional behavior
- Dedication to preventative public health initiatives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the general public as well as other agency employees
- Strong organizational and record keeping ability
- Experienced in data entry, NESIIS, and immunization requirements
- Experience with international immunizations records helpful for the position, but not required
Schedule/Hours: This position is full time with flexible scheduling on non-clinic days, up to 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Pay Rate: Starting wage range of $26 – $30 an hour, based on license and experience
Benefits: With benefits the wage range calculates to an approximate value of $33.28 – $38.40 an hour.
