What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Confidential?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a positive relationship with residents through effective communication and customer relationship management
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs for the property
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Assist with leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants and upselling additional services or amenities
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and expenses
- Train and mentor leasing team while achieving property goals
- Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment
- Manage the renewal process including resident notification, CMHA renewals and scheduling renewal events
- Manage delinquency including resident communication, payment plans, legal action, etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer software for administrative tasks
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service best practices
