Registered Nurse, Float Pool

Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be decisive, and able to work with minimal supervision. They must also be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

A Registered Nurse in our Float Pool serves as an expert on the specialty staffing team, working in a variety of settings throughout the hospital. They will provide high-quality patient care, communicate effectively with the House Supervisor, and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care.

This role requires adaptability, flexibility, and a desire to serve as a resource in multiple settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment
• Documents patient care given
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• Current RN license to practice in the state of AR
• BCLS, ACLS & PALS certifications within 6 months of hire

Remuneration: REMUNERATION_MIN - REMUNERATION_MAX USD/year

Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
