Congressional Camp, a division of Congressional School, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and make a difference in the lives of children! Congressional Camp is an ACA-accredited coed day camp designed for ages 4-14. We're located on a beautiful, 40-acre campus in Falls Church, Virginia at Congressional School, as well as our second site at the St. Agnes School in Arlington, Virginia. Our diverse programs in 2022 include day camp and specialty camps which offer summers of new challenges, old traditions, friends and boundless FUN! Summer runs from mid-June to late-August with some flexible scheduling options for staff.
The Camp Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative human resource function for Congressional School Summer Camp and its employees and assists the Director of Human Resources of Congressional School in providing services as an internal consultant and principal liaison for Camp staff with regard to human resources policies, procedures, and practices. The Camp Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support in the life cycle of the Camp staff including on-boarding, employee relations, payroll, personnel policies, record keeping and compliance, and off-boarding. The Camp Human Resources Coordinator will be detail oriented, motivated and flexible; exhibit integrity and discretion; and work collaboratively with colleagues and other constituents. The Camp Human Resources Coordinator will be a strong team player and have the ability and desire to work professionally yet maintain a good sense of humor.
This position is Part-Time Seasonal with varied hours from March to September. The position can be remote in non-camp session times; however, position requires on-site presence during the camp sessions (mid-June through August).
The hours for this position are 8:15 am - 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Previous HR experience and strong organizational skills are required. We offer a fun atmosphere, competitive pay and free lunch! All Congressional Camp employees are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Salary : $32,600 - $41,300
