Our Financial Services team makes up the advanced banking group who serves members from many channels. Our team will not only partner to give you the training you need, but also set you up for success in your new position to be your personal and professional best. We receive phone calls, emails, in person visits from our members; every interaction is unique and you will have the flexibility to schedule your time and resources to truly give them a great experience. You will also be eligible each month for a variable incentive plan. Position Responsibilities: Interview consumer loan applicants and provide information on loan products that best meets the member's needs and ability to take applications in the system Responsible for developing additional business by promoting credit union products and services through building and maintaining strong member relationships including making outbound sales calls Promptly and accurately assist members at the counter, drive-up, digitally, phone, or via mail correspondence with all financial transactions as per branch needs Solve members service issues and find solutions for complex maintenance issues Identify and render the best service possible to all members including the ability to interact with other departments within the organization to answer questions Take initiative for your personal development and stay informed of all credit union products and services as they relate to your role Educates team members on new or existing products and services Comply with all Federal Regulations as they pertain to your job duties Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required 3 years of prior work experience in sales or customer service Previous experience in a financial institution is preferred Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills along with an outgoing personality that demonstrates a positive, friendly and energetic attitude Ability to remain calm under pressure and to be entrusted with the handling of confidential and personal matters Ability to problem solve and use independent judgment Proficient keyboarding and 10- key calculator skills, along with the knowledge and ability to efficiently navigate among numerous computer systems Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment Connexus Credit Union's Recent Recognitions: 2022 Best Credit Union – Bankrate 2022 Best Checking Account – Forbes Advisor 2022 Best Credit Union in the U.S – Kiplinger Fourth Largest Credit Union in Wisconsin (by asset size) Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans/41 CFR 60–1.4, 41 CFR 60-1.35 About Connexus Credit Union Serving more than 445,000 members nationwide, Wausau, WI-based Connexus Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative with over $5.2 billion in assets and 670 employees.
