CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a healthcare business in the Dallas area and is hiring Medical Collectors. Ideal candidates will have 2 years experience with Medical/Healthcare collections and billing. Must also be okay with a rotating schedule.
Job Title: Medical Collector
Location: Dallas, TX - free parking
**Position has the potential to be hybrid once hired on
Pay: $18/hour (eligible for commission once permanent - up to $3000/month!)
Schedule will rotate weekly:
Week one:
Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm
Wednesday & Thursday 11am-8pm
Friday 8am-5pm
Week two:
Monday & Tuesday 11am-8pm
Wednesday & Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-5pm
Week three:
Monday – Thursday 9am-8pm
Friday off
Job Description:
Complete all of the research, follow-up, and external negotiations necessary with patients to resolve monetary recovery.
Requirements:
- Flu vaccine required for this specific job
- Spanish-bilingual is highly preferred, but not required
- High volume call center experience
- Ability to work in a production based driven environment
- Intermediate understanding of A/R principles
- Excellent and written communication skills resulting in positive communication
- The ability to demonstrate analytical and mathematical skills
- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize activities
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Sales experience is a plus
- Stable job history - NO job hoppers
- HS diploma or GED required
