What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Fitness Instructor position at Countryside YMCA?
Water Fitness Instructor (P/T)
Do you love water and helping people reach their fitness goals? Our Water Fitness instructors plan and lead Water Fitness Classes at Countryside YMCA Main Campus. You will build effective, authentic relationships with students and parents while helping them connect with each other and the YMCA in our efforts to improve water safety throughout the community.
Hours and Days: Instructors needed for daytime classes between 9 am and 1 pm, expect 2-4 hours weekly.
Requirements: Training is available! Will require certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification and Emergency Oxygen. Candidates should have an enthusiastic and adaptable personality, must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check. You should be able to support fellow staff members by substituting on an as-needed and as-able basis.
Pay range: Starting at $12.66 per hour, may increase depending on certifications and experience.
