Overview of the Role
A leading beauty-focused team is seeking a skilled Jr. Art Director to support creative initiatives. This role contributes to the development of branded assets across print, digital, packaging, and social channels, helping bring visual storytelling to life through clean, thoughtful design. The Jr. Art Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate strategy into compelling creative solutions while maintaining consistent brand standards.
The Basics- Duration: 5 months
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Onsite, Addison, TX
- 2 years of professional design experience in-house or at an agency
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- A strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern design across multiple channels and mediums
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Enthusiastic, curious mindset with a passion for design, branding, and storytelling
- Familiarity with web or motion tools (a plus)
- Experience in the beauty industry (a plus)
- Design a range of branded assets, including fliers, brochures, cards, signage, presentations, social content, web materials, and campaign collateral
- Collaborate with copywriters and creatives to develop concepts and enhance visual storytelling
- Participate in project briefings and translate creative strategies into effective design solutions
- Produce sketches, storyboards, rough layouts, and final design executions
- Present work to internal stakeholders and integrate feedback into revisions
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs while following established guidelines
- Support packaging artwork development, ensuring brand alignment and production feasibility
- Assist in maintaining and updating brand guidelines and global templates
- Contribute to ongoing brand evolution and help uphold a cohesive visual identity
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Partner with internal teams to align creative deliverables with broader business objectives
- Track design deliverables and collaborate on timelines and resource planning
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
