UX Prototyper

Our well-known luxury retail client is looking for a UX Prototyper to support their team for 3 months, 40 hours/week, hybrid in Corte Madera, CA! Potential for this role to turn into an ongoing contract based on performance and budget.

You will be required to come onsite in Corte Madera, CA three times a week.

 MUST HAVE UX PROTOTYPE SAMPLES TO BE CONSIDERED!

The ideal UX Prototyper should have:
- Strong React or Next.js experience
- Comfortable deploying via Netlify and/or Vercel
- Excellent HTML/CSS skills for pixel-accurate UX builds
- Strong UX intuition and ability to implement UX concepts faithfully
- Comfortable hard-coding functional front-end behavior (mock data, fake carts, simulated flows)
- Ability to work extremely fast with clean, readable code

Nice-to-Haves:
- Headless Shopify or custom storefront experience
- Familiarity with design systems & component libraries
- Accessibility and performance best practices
- Prior experience working directly with executives

Responsibilities:

Executive Prototype Development
- Rapidly build high-fidelity, semi-functional web prototypes (hard-coded, front-end focused)
- Deliver executive-reviewable experiences within hours to days
- Create realistic PDPs, funnels, category flows, navigation systems, and checkout-adjacent experiences
- Focus on large-tablet-first (iPad-class viewport)

UX Acceleration
- Partner directly with UX Designers to bring concepts to life
- Enable fast executive feedback loops
- Translate abstract UX concepts into experiential reality

Design System & Reusability
- Build reusable component libraries for future prototypes
- Maintain clean, documented, modular front-end patterns
- Improve prototype speed without sacrificing realism

Tooling & Infrastructure
- Own Netlify / Vercel-based prototype pipelines
- Maintain preview environments for leadership demos
- Ensure fast builds, easy iteration, and clean handoff to engineering

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
